This was a really pleasant campground. The staff was courteous giving a little welcome package including dog treats. The sites were large, well shaded and reasonably convenient to the area's attractions. We would definitely stay here again.
We've stayed at this campground on several occasions, the most recent being July 22-25. We have always enjoyed our stays. The campsites are relatively large and with the exception of the rally sites give enough privacy so you don't feel as though you're camping in a Walmart parking lot. THere are quite a few seasonal sites but we've never felt as if we're intruding. Our only complaint and it's not a big one is the park could use more staff. Washrooms tend to get a little dirtier than they should be. Again though, I feel price relects that. More staff higher rates. Paying less than $40 nightly for a fully serviced site in a private Ontario campground is a good deal.
We stayed at this campground for it's proximity to the Niagara Falls attractions. We would not stay here again. Almost immediately leaving the campground you are surrounded by Massage Parlours, Gentleman's Clubs and roadside motels offering daily rates. This may not be offensive to everyone but when you are trying to get to the nice attractions of town and have children travelling with you it is a bit of an annoyance. The campground was so- so in cleanliness. If you are anywhere other than the sites surrounding the "barn"(entertainment area) that smells like an old barn WiFi is not available, although it's advertised. The area of the park we were in was newer, sites were a decent size, although no privacy. It was the parking lot experience on the wrong side of the tracks literally.
